Home Additions

More house, without the guessing about when it starts or how long it takes.

What this work is, in plain language

An addition is new foundation, framing, roofing, and finish-out attached to your existing home. It's the longest and most involved thing we do, which is exactly why the written start date matters most here — an addition with a vague timeline can drift for a year.

This is for you if…

  • Growing families who love their street and don't want to move
  • Homeowners adding a bathroom or bedroom to a house that has needed one for years
  • Anyone who wants the full timeline conversation — permits, weather, inspections — before the contract, not after

And honestly, not if…

  • If your lot, foundation, or budget can't support the addition you have in mind, we'll tell you at the walk-through rather than string you along
  • Additions are months of work, not weeks — if you need space by next month, this isn't the path

Problems this work solves

  • Four people and one bathroom
  • A house you love on a street you love, one room too small
  • Aging parents moving in and nowhere to put them
  • A home office that's currently the dining table

What's included

  • Free on-site walk-through and feasibility conversation with Sarah
  • A written start date on the contract before your deposit
  • Foundation, framing, roofing, and exterior finish
  • Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC coordination
  • Full interior finish-out — drywall, flooring, paint, trim
  • Permit and inspection coordination
  • Daily communication and a final walk-around

How the job runs: The Written Start

  1. 01

    Walk It

Sarah walks your bathroom in person, before any number exists. She looks at the actual room, the actual walls, and the actual plumbing — not photos.

  2. 02

    Date It

Your start date goes on the contract, in writing, before you pay a deposit. If we can't commit to a date, we tell you that instead of taking your money.

  3. 03

    Build It

Same faces, day one to done. One name on the contract, one person to call. If something changes, you hear it from Sarah first — and you hear it early.

  4. 04

    Sign Off

A final walk-around with you before anyone leaves. You point at anything that isn't right, and it gets handled before we call the job finished.

Honest timeline expectations

Additions run in months, not weeks — typically two to five months of active work depending on size and complexity, plus permitting time up front. We map that out with you honestly at the estimate. Weather and inspections add real variables, and when they move the schedule, you hear it from Sarah first.

What drives cost up and down is explained plainly — no figures, no games — on our pricing page.
