Process / What to Expect

The Written Start, step by step

Four steps, the same order, every job — built to remove the vagueness that burns Central Texas homeowners.

  1. 01

    Walk It

Sarah walks your bathroom in person, before any number exists. She looks at the actual room, the actual walls, and the actual plumbing — not photos.

  2. 02

    Date It

Your start date goes on the contract, in writing, before you pay a deposit. If we can't commit to a date, we tell you that instead of taking your money.

  3. 03

    Build It

Same faces, day one to done. One name on the contract, one person to call. If something changes, you hear it from Sarah first — and you hear it early.

  4. 04

    Sign Off

A final walk-around with you before anyone leaves. You point at anything that isn't right, and it gets handled before we call the job finished.

You

RBP

Tell us what you want done and when works for a walk-through

Show up on time, walk the actual room, and listen more than we talk

Make material selections by the deadline we give you — before demo

Put your start date and scope on a written contract before your deposit

Keep the work area accessible and tell us early if something isn't working

Same small team daily, a daily update in your preferred form, and bad news first — from Sarah

Walk the finished job with us and point at anything that isn't right

Handle it before we call the job done

Communication cadence, plainly: you hear from us every working day the job runs — a text or a call, whichever you prefer. If something changes the plan, you hear it from Sarah first, and you hear it early.

Common pitfalls, and how we avoid them

The mid-job selection scramble

Jobs stall when tile or fixtures get chosen after demo. We give you a selections deadline before the start date, so nothing is decided under pressure.

The silent week

The most corrosive thing on any job is not knowing what's happening. Our answer is structural: a daily update, every working day, text or call — your choice.

The buried surprise

Older Central Texas homes hide things behind plaster. When we find one, you get photos, options, and a conversation the same day — and nothing changes on the bill without your sign-off.

The fuzzy finish

Jobs that end with 'we'll swing by for that last bit' never quite end. Ours end with a walk-around you attend, and a punch list that gets done before we leave.
