About

One name on the contract. One person to call.

RBP Home Services is run by Sarah Stiles Bucio — and how she runs it is the whole story.

Who we help — and who we don't

We work with Central Texas homeowners who want certainty more than they want a sales pitch: people remodeling a bathroom or kitchen, adding on, or caring for an older home, who want to know when it starts, who's coming, and who's responsible — before money moves.

We're not the right fit for everyone. If you're shopping purely on price, someone will always bid lower. If you need a start this week, an honest schedule can't give you one. We'd rather tell you that in the first conversation than let you find it out the hard way.

Sarah's story

Sarah runs jobs the way she does because of the stories she kept hearing from homeowners around Waco, Temple, and Belton: a deposit paid in good faith, a demo crew that showed up fast and disappeared faster, and a contract that — when they finally read the fine print — never actually committed to anything. Nothing on paper to miss, so nothing was technically missed.

Her response wasn't a slogan. It was a rule: the start date goes on the contract before the deposit, every job, no exceptions. Around that rule she built the rest of it — walking every project in person before quoting it, keeping the same small team on a job from day one to done, and delivering bad news herself, early, when a house springs a surprise.

She'll also tell you what she won't do: she won't quote your bathroom over the phone, because a number given without seeing the room is a guess. She won't promise a start she can't hold. And she won't pretend remodeling is painless — her job is to make the disruption predictable and short, not invisible.

What we refuse to do

  • We refuse to take a deposit before the start date is on the contract.
  • We refuse to go quiet. You get an update every working day, in whatever form you prefer.
  • We refuse to hide bad news. If something behind the wall changes the plan, you hear it the day we find it, from Sarah.
  • We refuse to cover up problems. Nothing gets closed into a wall that shouldn't be there.
  • We refuse to call a job done before you've walked it with us.

What to expect working with us

  • A free on-site walk-through before any number exists
  • A written contract with your start date on it, before the deposit
  • The same small team every day, and Sarah as your single point of contact
  • A daily update — text or call, your choice
  • A final walk-around with you before the job is called done

The full step-by-step is on the process page. What drives cost is on the pricing page. And the honest comparison of remodeler vs. handyman — which sometimes concludes you shouldn't hire us — lives on the blog, along with the FAQ.
